Selection Process
First and foremost, we breed for ourselves and for the betterment of the breed. This means that we will always have first pick of the litter, this process does take weeks after the puppies are born before we can make an informed decision.
We ask all potential puppy buyers to complete our application form so we are able to establish which puppy is going to be best suited to your lifestyle. We understand that you may have a colour or marking preference but unfortunately, if the puppies temperament/personality is not suited to you or there isn't a puppy matching your description you may have to wait until the right one is available. We Prioritise pups in order of who is on the waitlist in order of applications/deposits received.
Once we approve your application, we require a $500 deposit to secure your puppy, and paid in full prior to collection at 8 weeks of age.

CO-OWNERSHIP:
Co-own families are a crucial part of many ethical breeding programs. They allow us to select the right pups to move forward with for each generation without having to be worried about limited space or limited time of our own. With each litter we produce, we are always looking for families to co-own one of our puppies. Like other breeders, we often rely a lot on our co-own families to help us move forward not just with our breeding program, but also for the work we are doing for the breed as a whole here in Australia.
WHAT DOES CO-OWNERSHIP MEAN?
Co-ownership means that you have the opportunity to own one of our picks from the litter, whether male or female. That dog will be your pet and once the dog has reached maturity and has tested well with health testing, he/she would be included in our breeding program.
WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?
The basics of co-ownership are that we cover all expenses in relation to breeding. For example: Health testing, Semen collection etc. This would mean that you must be willing to work with us and take the dog to the vet for it's required testing and possible semen collection. Meanwhile the day-to-day cost of owning a dog would be the co-owners responsibility.
If we use the dog in our breeding program, we offer a full refund of the purchase price, once the contract is finalised, generally by the time the dog is 4 years old.
Co-owning is also a great option for those that are thinking about getting into breeding.
With the help and guidance from us, you can see first hand what we do and how we go about our breeding practices.
If you are interested in co-ownership please contact us for more information as both sexes have different requirements.
Price is $3,000 for both male and/or female.
Having a great relationship with families that want to co-own one of our puppies, is very important to us. We take pride in our dogs and in our breeding program, so it is extremely important that our puppy buyers understand that.
We strongly believe that the American Bulldog standard is drastically dropping due to careless breeding over the last 10, even 20 years here in Australia. There are unfortunately breeders out there who are not giving much thought about what their breeding practices might be doing to the future of the breed here.
In our opinion there are multiple issues within the breed such as health problems as a result of 'breeders' not taking the time to health test their dogs, temperament issues within the breed because 'breeders' are not choosing stable, well-balanced dogs to breed from.
Due to previously trusting others with our dogs we have seen first hand what can happen when someone has used one of our dogs for their own breeding purposes. There is a chain reaction of issues that occur when bred to a dog that could be full of underlying health issues or has an unstable temperament.
We are always looking for like minded bulldoggers who share the same views as us and are just as passionate as we are about saving the future of the breed here in Australia.
Because we have spent over 10 years, thousands of dollars and countless hours of effort getting our dogs, our breeding program and our kennel to where it is today. And after too many bad judgement calls, we don't want someone else to undo years of our hard work.
Please feel free to contact us if you would like further information.
